Children learn through play

Play is essential to young children's optimal intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth and development. As children play, they experiment, interact with others, and discover the world around them. Much more than fun and games, play is the avenue through which children build true meaning and understanding about themselves, others, and their surroundings.
